March 2013

We started off March with one more celebration: Dr. Seuss's Birthday.   We enjoyed reading books, watching movies, and of course eating some green eggs and ham.

We attended another birthday party this time with a pony!

March brought warmer weather and we took advantage of being able to get outside more.

We took trips to the park
(Annabelle completed the monkey bars for the first time)

We ate outside

Even had popsicles

Built monsters out of tumbleweeds

Played basketball

Did some work with our "dump truck"

And we were able to walk home from school

We had a few colder days too and the kids kept themselves plenty busy inside.

We of course celebrated St. Patrick's Day by wearing green, eating more green eggs, and enjoying shamrock shakes (a surprise treat from daddy).

Near the end of March was Annabelle's spring break, so we headed up to Spokane to visit family and friends.  We started off at Oma and Opa's.

We couldn't leave without a quick trip to Gonzaga and a picture with the bulldog.

Then it was home to warmer weather and Easter weekend.   We started off the weekend by going to a local Easter egg hunt.  We then sent the kids on their own hunt at home, before we colored eggs, made dinner together, and headed out for a walk....enjoying our time as a family.
